Sample preparation machines are meant to be used to help in preparation of metal and other appropriate material specimens for metallographic tests and inspection.
Abrasive cut-off machines are used to section metal samples and other appropriate materials in order to make them ready for inspection, testing, and analysis. Selection of the machine depends on the type of the material and size of the sample.
Belt grinders are used for grinding, deburring and surface preparation of metal specimens and parts. Surface preparation is achieved through the removal of surface irregularities to facilitate further operations like polishing, testing, or inspection.
